Fight for whatever he told them?

  Kevin Lyons, 40

Heckled guards with the mob:
“f---ing Nazi bastards!” and “SS!” Went into Nancy Pelosi's office, took selfies with feet on top of desk, stole framed photo of Nancy and John Lewis, and stole a $150. in cash from a staff members wallet.

Update, after serving one year, of his four year sentence he was released from prison.

AKA: Milkshake
Daniel Lyons Scott, 29, declared during a Florida rally that if a U.S. senator didn’t vote against the certification of Biden’s victory, they should “give him the rope!”

Attorney says the poor boy was just frustrated and blowing off steam, as he pushed guards up stairs, then pulled one down into the crowd, breaking police line, allowing the rioters to surge, break into the building.
"aggressive crowd control effort.” “Let’s take the (expletive) Capitol!”

(I thought guards let them inside leading them on a guided tour?)

Richard Markey, 38,

emerging from the riotous mob near the south side of the tunnel, climbing on top of other rioters, “pushing himself toward the police line, raising the baton, and striking at law enforcement.”  After losing the baton during the melee, Markey continued to strike at police with his fists.

Markey is also accused of later pulling a wooden pole away from a police officer and using it to strike at police with such force that it snapped. He is also accused of pulling, pushing and kicking at police officers' protective shields while shouting “oath breaker."

Edward Rodriguez, 31, of Brooklyn, N.Y

deployed bear attack deterrent spray on multiple police officers during the riots outside the U.S. Capitol Building.
was recorded on video being interviewed on the scene by an independent reporter. Rodriguez stated, “Here in America, we fight back. We will never surrender to dictatorship, corruption, communism, or socialism. We the people will never put up with their bullsh-t….”

So they elect a "dictator on Day one" who is already breaking laws (Logan Act for one) and barking orders like a dictator?

MAWA logic?

 Audrey Ann Southard-Rumsey, 54

Audrey Ann, Southard-Rumsey amplified calls for revolution on social media and worked with others on a declaration calling for the abolition of the Democratic Party and the institution of a new government. On the day of the Capitol attack, She uploaded a photo of herself at the east plaza. on Facebook. broadcasted a live video of herself.

She was part of a large group that broke through police barricades. She grabbed an officer’s riot shield,  pushed an officer with a flagpole, causing him to fall and hit his head on marble base; joined a group that pushed officers down some stairs. "Tell Pelosi we are coming for that b****."

"My whole dream of my life has been taken, because people have different politics than mine."

"I have grievances, since they don't listen to us at the polling place.  They don't listen to us little people in the regular world. I'm ashamed of this country."

"When you decide to throw me in prison for doing my duty, think of what I now have to give up.

She criticized gas and grocery prices and said,  "I'm terrified about what's happening in our country."

"It's not fair."

"I won't protest because I'll be in prison. Why protest? You guys don't listen." (attorney wanted house arrest because she would not protest again, ha, ha)

yelled at reporters: "You all are f******* liars.  You should be ashamed of yourself.  You're why we're in this mess."

What? Gas and grocery prices? At the end of 2020? So gas and grocery prices under DJT were so bad, she wanted to stop election of Biden? What about MY dream of life?

And people voted to put him back in the White House?

A day of peace and love?

“That day broke our tradition of peacefully transferring power, which is among the most precious things that we had as Americans,” the judge said, emphasizing that he was using the past tense in light of how Jan. 6 affected the process..

Kyle Fitzsimons, 39

carrying an unstrung bow, committed five assaults against police officers within a five-minute span. At one point, he threw the unstrung bow at the group of officers, which hit and bounced off the ballistic helmet of the the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD), court documents revealed.

Amid another altercation with an MPD officer, a different rioter sprayed them with a chemical agent and Fitzsimons trapped the chemical under the detective’s mask, causing him to temporarily suffocate, the filing reads.

Thomas John Ballard, 36

Ballard used a police baton to repeatedly hit police officers and pushed a piece of metal scaffolding at the legs of officers; threw multiple objects at law enforcement, including a tabletop, a bottle of unknown liquid, a pole, pieces of a wooden plank, and two other unknown objects.

Juan J. Rodriguez was discovered by Capitol Police inside a Senate staff office room with two other men, one wearing a helmet and the other wearing a "Make America Great Again," baseball cap,
Alexander Fan, of Houston, Texas,
the  one wearing helmet was not identified

door was locked from inside and the 3 men refused to obey officers commands to open it
The men apparently got into the office through a window broken earlier by another man. "The previously-shattered glass was no longer in the window; the panes were empty; and glass littered the floor of Office S202."

Capitol police officers escorted the men outside the building, but "minutes later, Rodriguez was back, standing on the ledge outside the same window" and asking for the cellphone he'd left charging inside

Rachel Marie Powell
Used ice axe and large pipe to break window

J6th Law Enforcement

This is not an article. It is notes from news reports. I often posted them on Facebook. Anyone that voted for DJT voted for this. Birds of a feather.

Officer Mark Ode, who was beaten by members of the mob, said  the riot was a “planned and organized attempt to overthrow our constitutional process by individuals who determined that their opinion of the few was superior to the Constitution.”

“Certain memories and experiences leave deep marks that never fully heal and leave a reminder of things that were or things that could have been,” Ode said in his statement. He recounted being “pinned down by multiple assailants, being pinned down by all of their weight, while simultaneously being choked by the chinstrap of my helmet.”

I “felt my life fleeing my body,” Ode wrote, and had “the most vivid visual of my own funeral.”

*

“That day was the first time I wasn’t sure if I was going home that night,
Officer Shae Cooney,  recounted the aftermath that night and “feeling my phone vibrate for hours knowing that my family was trying to reach me, and I couldn’t do anything for hours.

“I lost a friend that day, someone who I had worked with for almost three years. I was standing right next to him when he started fighting, and later that day he was gone. And every day I have to be reminded that he isn’t here anymore because the people in this courtroom decided that they weren’t happy with how an election went.”

Though she did not identify the officer by name, Cooney appeared to be referencing US Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick, who suffered strokes and died of natural causes shortly after responding to the riot.

Inspector Thomas Lloyd directly called out politicians, defendants and media figures who have alleged that law enforcement officers were somehow responsible for what happened during the riot. Lloyd, one of the Capitol Police leading officers that day, helped organize the evacuation of members – even as the mob broke into the Speaker’s Lobby, where members were fleeing.

“Recent videos have emerged that alleged our officers were tour guides in the Capitol building,” Lloyd said. “When a mob controls one-third of the United States government, you will see disturbing videos of police officers being at the mercy of the rioters.”

Lloyd also decried allegations that “rioters entered the interior of the Capitol building because my officers didn’t know how to lock down the window properly.”

“Some defendants have stated they assisted my personnel on January 6,” Lloyd said. “This is the same tactic used as domestic violence perpetrators – beat the victim unconscious and then attempt to render aid.”

Associated Content

Yahoo bought Associated Content. As mentioned in my header (which I completely forgot) they removed all self-published articles. I mostly self-published. I liked to write Book Reviews. AC rejected them; they wanted articles about product.

Hello, ever hear about  Barnes & Noble? I did write some product reviews that they requested. I wrote a first person account on Long Beach news. Maybe it is here on this blog. Or maybe I have it saved to USB thingy. I was looking for an article I wrote "Baby Killers." A lot of research went into writing it.

Did not find here or among my printed articles.

We became Yahoo Contributors. Did I ever submit, get paid under that title? I do not recall. One day, poof, all our articles were gone, without warning. Every once in a while, as I scrolled Yahoo News headlines, I would see an article by Yahoo Contributor. I wondered if any of my AC peers were hired to write for Yahoo.

This is just to clarify my header and my "Correction" sidebar link. Politics took over my life the past few months. Actually started soon after November 2022, when the dump decided to run for president again.

How could he be allowed to run after J6th treason. Sad the MAWAs put him back in the office he disgraced.

Time will tell ~ how much Project 2025 will his band of mundane Cabinet members implement.

Ha, maybe now that I am not looking a news, I will try to write an article. I tried my hand at humor; not quite funny or creative enough.

Opps looking at labels we were once called Yahoo Voices.

Black Buck

"keep waiting for the right opportunity," from novel Black Buck ~ "if you keep waiting, you will never do anything."
During a pool game, the Black guy said you never hear about black people playing pool. I have.

end of poem Mother To Son by Langston Hughes

Don't you set down on the steps.
'Cause you finds it's kinda hard
Don't you fall down now
For I'se still goin', honey
I'se still climbing
And life for me ain't been no crystal stairs.

Pen Pal

“What we call memory is the intersection between imagination and fact. Memories are the stories we tell ourselves about the important events in our lives. In the telling, some details get lost, others embellished, until truth is closer to fiction.”

I was so turned off by the novel, Pen Pal by J. T. Geissinger, that I stopped reading it in August. I did not remove download from my Kindle or return to Amazon Prime. I skipped to the end, which is why I wanted to finish reading it.

I liked the paranormal aspects, not the abrevant bedroom scenes.
